SkillsTech Australia is Queensland's largest TAFE institute dedicated to trade and technician training in automotive, building and construction, electrotechnology, manufacturing and engineering, sustainable technologies and water.
We deliver pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship/traineeship and post-trade training to more than 20,000 students every year, at six Brisbane metropolitan training centres.
As part of the TAFE Queensland network, SkillsTech Australia works with industry to develop and deliver world-class courses that provide relevant skills and best practice training.
We have a reputation for delivering the highest quality training with industry-standard equipment in safe, modern, world-class facilities.
Our teachers are qualified tradespeople, who understand the need to train with the latest techniques and technologies to meet industry standards. Students have access to hands-on training to ensure they are job-ready for their employer.

Awards and industry recognition
SkillsTech Australia has been recognised during 2010 and 2011 with many awards and accolades from industry and government, including Public RTO of the Year at the Constructions Skills Queensland Excellence Awards 2010 and finalist in the Education and Training category for the 21st annual Premier of Queensland's Export Awards 2010.
