AusAid scholarships
AusAID, the Australian Agency for International Development, offers Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) to overseas students, enabling access to higher education in Australia.
Australian Development Scholarships are an Australian Government initiative to build partnerships and increase mutual understanding, knowledge and innovation in the Asia Pacific region.
Australian Development Scholarships aim to contribute to long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries to promote good governance, economic growth and human development. Australian Development Scholarships provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive change and influence the development outcomes of their own country through obtaining tertiary qualifications at participating Australian institutions.
Eligible countries for Queensland scholarships include Papua New Guinea, Laos, East Timor, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Wallis Island and Tonga.
Successful applicants will receive free tuition and a living allowance.
Application forms may be obtained from the nearest Australian Embassy or Australian High Commission.
Visit the AusAID website for more information.
Please note: You cannot directly apply for Australian Development Scholarships at SkillsTech Australia.
