general collection - books, magazines, videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs, posters and kits covering all teaching and learning areas at SkillsTech Australia

reference collection - dictionaries, atlases, encyclopaedias, yearbooks, handbooks, directories, statistics, legislation, and syllabi. Please note that all reference items are marked "Ref". Syllabus items are marked "Syl". Reference items and syllabi are not for loan.
- held at desk collection -copies of high demand textbooks, videos, DVDs and past exam papers. Please enquire at the circulation desk. They are for use in the library only.
- magazine collection - journals, magazines, or periodicals, including newspapers

Alternatively, contact our library staff via the 'Ask a librarian' service. Our library staff have years of experience in locating the sometimes hard to find resources, articles and references.
Remote library services
As a student in a remote location you can access all of the key services that the SkillsTech Australia Training Centre library has to offer. Remote students or teachers can email, phone, use the loan request form on the website or come in person.
Library items can be posted to your home. Remote students are provided with a reply paid sticker to return loans free of charge.

Computer and audio visual facilities
SkillsTech Australia libraries are equipped with computers, small screening rooms and internet facilities for student use. Please take note of the internet rules displayed when you log onto a library computer.

Photocopying and printing
The SkillsTech Australia Training Centre library offers card-operated photocopying and printing facilities. Students can add money to their student cards from the machine housed within the library.
Services for teachers
On-campus and external teachers have access to all of the SkillsTech Australia Training Centre library collections and services.
External staff can attend face-to-face library orientations. Contact us to arrange an orientation.
The SkillsTech Australia Training Centre library offers structured, tailored information literacy classes for groups of students. Contact the library to arrange a time and place for class visits.
