Student Self Service
SkillsTech Australia students have access to a Student Self Service website which allows you to:
- maintain your own personal details
- view your academic information
- enrol into a program or course
- make a payment
- access online learning through my.TAFE.

How do I log on?
NOTE: You must be registered for Student Self Service to get access. Once enrolled, you are registered for the service.

Visit the Student Self Service Log on page

Log in with your student number (username) and password.
If you have lost your username and password, phone SkillsTech Australia on 1800 654 447 for assistance.
How do I register?
When you enrol for the first time in any TAFE course, you are automatically registered for Student Self Service. Your username and password are emailed to the address you provided when you enrolled.
NOTE: The email is sent to you only once.
If you have not enrolled previously, you can still self-register following these steps.
- Enter the required information to complete the registration process.
Your User ID and password will be emailed to you.

my.TAFE online learning
SkillsTech Australia students have access to online learning on my.TAFE.
my.TAFE allows you to:

access your online study materials
- complete class work and assessments
- communicate with teachers and student groups.
How do I log on from home/off campus? (I am a new student enrolled for the first time in a TAFE course)

Access two emails sent by TAFEQ which contain your username (student number) and temporary password.

Follow the link to SSS from the second email and log in with temporary password.

Change the password.

Follow these links: Learning Management System >> my.TAFE and log in with your changed password.
How do I log on from campus? (I am a new student enrolled for the first time in a TAFE course)

Log on a computer in a computer lab
Username: student number
Password: date of birth (for example 04081990 for 4 August 1990)

Change the password.

Go to my.TAFE and log in with the new password.
