The student counsellors provides a range of services in the following areas:Career and course selection
Assistance in choosing a career direction and suitable courses, based on an exploration of your interests, abilities and other factors.
Articulation pathways
Information on pathways to your chosen field of study with particular emphasis on the QTAC process, upgrading through a SkillsTech Australia course, university entrance criteria and credit transfer.
Personal counselling
Assistance in dealing with issues that are making it difficult for you to study effectively. These could be personal, family, or relationship crises; or study related matters. If ongoing support is necessary, referral to other services is available..
This counselling service to students is free and confidential. Career and course selection and course information on articulation pathways is also available to prospective students. Most consultations are on a one to one basis, but occasionally seminars are held on particular issues.
